I've always loved flowers, I really can't explain it. There's something so beautiful about the colors, the textures, the rhythms and the shapes the buds make when they repeat.
 
When I first started painting this series, it was very much a meditation. When I pick up my brushes, I lose myself in the process of creating something inspiring to share, something that expresses what I see and how I see it. It's as if the piece takes on a life of it's own and my role is merely a conduit to bring it to life.
 
Ultimately, this series is a love letter to this process and to seemingly endless inspiration these florals and greenery provide.
